Role Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Derivative Analyst to join our growing startup. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recommending intraday trades in index options and stock futures, creating comprehensive derivative reports, and providing actionable insights to enhance trading performance. This role requires strong analytical skills, real-time decision-making capabilities, and a deep understanding of the derivatives market.


Key Responsibilities:


Intraday Trading Recommendations:

  • Monitor live markets, identify trading opportunities, and recommend intraday trades in index options and stock futures based on market analysis and strategy.
  • Stay updated on market trends to provide timely and accurate trade recommendations.
  • Assist in implementing effective risk management practices to minimize exposure.


Market Analysis:

  • Analyze market trends, price movements, and macroeconomic factors impacting derivatives.
  • Prepare pre-market and post-market analysis to guide trading strategies.


Derivative Report Preparation:

• Create detailed derivative reports, including option chain analysis, open interest trends, and volatility data.

• Develop actionable insights and recommendations for trading strategies based on report findings.


Performance Monitoring:

• Track trade performance & provide regular updates on key metrics like profit/loss, hit rate, and risk-reward ratio.

• Identify areas for improvement and adjust strategies to optimize returns.


Qualifications

  • 3+ years of work experience in Index/Stock Options & Futures
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical abilities
  • Experience with risk management and hedging strategies
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Familiarity with trading platforms and charting tools such as Trading View
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
  • NISM Series VIII and NISM Series XV is preferred
