Job Responsibility:
- Holistic ownership and understanding of client accounts from an operations perspective, trade life-cycle, and act as a single point of contact for client business for any liquidity & trade management-related issues.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of the trade lifecycle by interacting with traders, strategists, clients, and technologists to work toward the shared goal of risk mitigation.
- Daily cash forecasting in multi-currency portfolios to include overdraft monitoring and fund liquidity reporting
- Manage collateral and counterparty exposures across multiple product classes and various regulations.
- Connect daily with traders and brokers to resolve issues and ensure timely settlement of trades.
- Understand and improve problem-solving capability for complex trade flow, accounting issues, and transactional discrepancies.
- Influence and drive strategic change across the front to back-of the function and the broader stakeholder community.
- Deliver consistently while dealing with multiple demands through effective prioritization, load balancing, delegation and time management.
- Optimize clients’ operational efficiency by offering innovative yet tangible solutions that meet their needs
- Communicate and connect with multiple levels of the organization and influence changes.
- Able to deal with multiple situations escalated by incorporating a broad set of stakeholders’ viewpoints both internally and externally.
- Connect the dots and think holistically about optimizing commercial outcomes at the firm-wide level.
- Act as a senior point of contact in supporting the business and assessing new business opportunities.
- Inspires followership by being a visible and connected leader at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrates a strong risk management culture and continues to look for opportunities to identify and mitigate risk.
- Showcase leadership in project management skills toward aims of improved cross-product support and relationship management.
- Grow with the team; develop a deeper understanding of complex transactions and work with our business partners to progress our trade capture capabilities.
- Build relationships with outside financial institutions (brokers, custodians, prime brokers and fund administrators) to improve the quality and productivity of work by integrating best practices as appropriate.
- Proactively review indicators of operational issues/concerns with the goal of resolving such issues before client impact.
Qualifications/Skills:
- 5-10 years of previous experience in operations and/or Financial Services industry. Specific knowledge of collateral management and daily margining process for OTC, Futures, MBS, Cleared Swap, Repo.
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills both written and oral.
- Be highly collaborative, team-oriented and strong consensus builder.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Proven ability to effectively manage competing priorities and to work well under pressure in a team environment.
- Analytical skills and interest in developing problem-solving capabilities.
- Demonstrate ability to partner across product groups, regions and functional responsibilities.
- Be a strategic thinker, possesses strong facilitation and data gathering skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure and to provide practical solutions.

- Collateral Management Expertise
- Portfolio migrations and daily margin workflows
- Collateral experience preferred:
- Understanding of EMIR
- Understanding of UMR o Experience with Securities Collateralisation
- Experience with different Derivatives products o Usage of systems like Acadia and Apex
