Job Title: Educational Content SpecialistWe are seeking a highly skilled Educational Content Specialist to join our team. As an SME, you will play a crucial role in creating assessment items aligned with state standards and state assessment tests across seven states.Key Responsibilities:Assessment Item Development: Develop assessment questions in the style according to state test blueprints for ELA grades 3-8 and English I.Passage and Question Creation: Create passages and questions for each of the seven states and across seven grade levels.Collaboration and Review: Collaborate with the Learning Design team to generate and review AI-generated multiple-choice and non-multiple-choice questions developed for each grade level and state.Evaluation and Validation: Evaluate questions for accuracy, pedagogical relevance, and rigor, as well as alignment to standards and/or Unpacked Standards Measurable Objectives (USMOs).Authoring and Quality Control: Author items, including sources or creating passages as necessary, for each test question as needed, ensuring that each item aligns with the specified ELA standard, is original, meets the expected rigor, adheres to pedagogical best practices, and aligns with client guidelines.Requirements:Candidate Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.Experience in educational content development and assessment item creation.Strong knowledge of state standards and state assessment tests.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Able to work independently and meet deadlines.Benefits:Why Join Our Team:Opportunity to work on high-profile educational projects.Chance to collaborate with experienced professionals in the field.Flexible work arrangements to suit your needs.Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.Prioritization of work-life balance and employee well-being.
