Job Description
We currently have a career opportunity for a
Senior Project Manager
to join our team located in Pune/Nagpur. The project manager will have complete responsibility for the day-to-day management of an engagement, including all aspects related to managing our consulting team, resulting in a successful delivery and a satisfied, reference-able client. We are looking for our project managers to be technically minded. They are not expected to code or contribute to a technical solution. However, they are expected to understand technology projects, know the fundamentals of Agile development, and understand at a high-level what are the technical goals of their project which will drive business results for the client.

ResponsibilitiesExpertise in Account and Program ManagementGood experience in handling multiple projects and teamsProvide core PMO Support to centralized team and project oversightApply Agile methodology/framework to the project teamDrive meetings and progress on action itemsUnderstand, at a high-level, the technical solution that is being applied/adoptedPrepare PMO deliverables, including status reports, project forecast/budget, etc.Create/manage project plans in Microsoft Project (or equivalent), drive all tasks within backlog tooling (e.x. Jira), and hold stakeholders accountableTrack dependencies and escalate risks/issues as neededDevelop status reports and presentation materials as neededEnsure requirements and project deliverable dates can be clearly communicated to management teamEnsure solutions through discussion with the Business/ Stakeholders to resolve problemsFoster an environment that adapts quickly to creative changeEffectively balance the needs of the client, as well as the needs of the internal teamsManage resources for each assigned project to ensure that the project remains on scheduleAnticipate any potential issues with the project through quick responses and proactive critical thinking
Qualifications6+ years of project management experience within IT projects/programsManagement consulting experience is preferredHighly proficient in collaborating with project stakeholders and business partners to deliver high quality projectsHands on with project documentation. Well-versed in industry best-practices.Knowledge of Agile Framework is a MUSTExperience with MS Project, PowerPoint, Visio and Excel is a MUST.Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet's, etc. is a MUST.Must be able to describe the high-level, technical solution of at least 2 projects/programs from past experiencesExcellent leadership, interpersonal, communication and presentation skillsBachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
Preferred skills:PMP CertificationScrum Master CertificationProject Management tool certification (Jira, ADO, etc.)
