Job Title : ServiceNow Discovery & Cloud SpecialistWorking hours : 3 pm to 11 pmLocation : RemoteNotice Period : 30-45 daysJob type : Full timeExperience : 7+ years hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITOM (Discovery, Cloud Discovery, Service Mapping, CMDB).Job Description: ServiceNow Discovery & Cloud SpecialistWe are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Discovery & Cloud Specialist to design, implement, and optimize Discovery processes that enable a reliable and accurate CMDB across on-premises and cloud environments.The role requires expertise in ServiceNow ITOM (Discovery, CMDB, Service Mapping), strong technical knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, and hands-on experience with multi-cloud visibility (AWS, Azure, GCP, VMware).Key ResponsibilitiesLead the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of ServiceNow Discovery across data centers, private cloud, and public cloud platforms.Configure and maintain Cloud Discovery integrations for AWS, Azure, GCP, VMware, and Kubernetes.Develop and optimize Discovery Patterns, Probes, and Sensors to ensure comprehensive coverage of hybrid IT.Manage MID Servers for both on-prem and cloud environments, ensuring secure, scalable communication.Integrate Discovery outputs with CMDB, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Cloud Management modules.Define and maintain credentials & API integrations (IAM roles, service accounts, OAuth) for cloud providers.Ensure CMDB accuracy, completeness, and relationship mapping for cloud-native and traditional infrastructure.Troubleshoot and resolve Discovery issues across network, VM, and cloud-native services.Collaborate with CloudOps, Infrastructure, and Security teams to align Discovery with cloud governance and FinOps.Document processes, patterns, and best practices for hybrid-cloud CMDB management.Requirements7+ years hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITOM (Discovery, Cloud Discovery, Service Mapping, CMDB).Proven expertise with AWS, Azure, GCP, VMware, including APIs, service discovery, and resource modeling.Knowledge of containerized environments (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker).Strong understanding of networking, operating systems (Windows, Linux, UNIX), virtualization, storage, and middleware.Familiarity with protocols (SNMP, WMI, SSH, REST, SOAP, JDBC).Solid understanding of CSDM, CMDB design, and service dependency mapping.Scripting experience (JavaScript, PowerShell, Python) for automation/customization.Preferred QualificationsServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Discovery & Service Mapping.ServiceNow ITOM Visibility certification.Cloud certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, GCP Cloud Engineer).Exposure to FinOps, Cloud Governance, and Security Operations.
