Chief Indirect Tax Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to work in indirect tax management.Indirect Tax ManagerWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to manage GST compliance and reporting for our company.The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate filing of monthly/quarterly GST returns, reviewing GST reconciliations, and monitoring Input Tax Credit eligibility and utilization. Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all GST-related transactions. Prepare and submit regular GST returns and reports as required by the authorities. Conduct regular audits and reviews of GST processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in indirect tax and hold a Chartered Accountant (C.A) certification. Proficiency in Excel and good understanding of GST are also required. Proficient in using Excel to prepare financial reports and analysis. Strong understanding of GST laws and regulations. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Apart from GST, experience in handling litigation under erstwhile IDT law is an added advantage.The role involves advisory and transactional support, as well as audit and assessment management. Streamlining tax processes and automating compliance through SAP is also a key responsibility.Our team is looking for someone who can take on additional responsibilities and contribute to our growth and success.
