Financial Operations SpecialistThe Financial Operations Specialist will oversee and manage the accounting functions within the organization.This role requires a deep understanding of accounting principles, financial management, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have worked in accounting with knowledge of construction accounting principles, financial management, and experience working on project profitability.Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.Prepare and analyse monthly and quarterly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Coordinate and facilitate the draw process, ensuring timely and accurate disbursement of funds for construction activities.Manage the audit and tax compliance process, including ensuring all information is complete, accurate, and available for auditors and tax preparers.Key Accountabilities:Develop and implement effective accounting procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.Provide timely and accurate financial reports to stakeholders.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions.Identify and mitigate potential financial risks.Requirements:Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.Benefits:Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for career growth and professional development.Collaborative and dynamic work environment.
