Job Opportunity: Equine Care SpecialistAbout the Job:We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as an Equine Care Specialist. As a key member of our stable staff, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and attention to our horses.Responsibilities:Perform daily stable cleaning, feeding, watering, and general barn maintenance tasks to ensure a clean and safe environment for our horses.Groom, bathe, saddle, and unsaddle horses with precision and care, paying close attention to their grooming needs.Prepare horses for riding lessons, events, shows, and competitions by ensuring they are properly groomed, saddled, and equipped.Assist veterinarians, farriers, and trainers in safely handling horses, providing basic first aid, and administering routine medications as needed.Clean and maintain equipment, buckets, grooming tools, and barn areas to prevent the spread of disease and maintain a healthy environment.Load and unload horses, as well as travel to events when required, to provide exceptional care and transportation services.Perform full-body clipping and seasonal grooming tasks to ensure our horses look their best at all times.Requirements:Demonstrate strong horse handling abilities and confidence when working with different types of horses.Show a good understanding of equine care and stable routines, including feeding schedules, exercise regimens, and veterinary care.Benefits:Competitive salary and benefits package.Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.A dynamic and supportive work environment.
