Job Summary:We are seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to manage our inventory levels, monitor stock health, and drive vendor operational improvement.This role involves collaborating with operations teams to drive efficiency and accuracy in inventory management.You will be responsible for managing inbound shipments, ensuring high fill rates, and analyzing inventory position to identify areas for improvement.Additionally, you will participate in manufacturer and vendor reviews to drive process improvements and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.This is a unique opportunity to leverage your analytical skills and business acumen to drive business decisions and achieve exceptional results.About the Role:A strong proficiency in analysis tools including Microsoft Excel, Access, and SQL is essential for this role.Experience working with large and complex data sets to drive business decisions is highly valued.Proven ability to manage large and complicated cross-functional projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines is required.Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and drive business outcomes is essential.This role requires a highly analytical individual who is flexible, action-oriented, and comfortable with computer databases and tools.What You'll Do:Analyze inventory position and SKU performance to determine inventory liability and develop strategies to optimize inventory levels.Manage inbound shipments, including ensuring high fill rates, resolving operational issues, and negotiating with vendors.Collaborate with operations teams to drive efficiency and accuracy in inventory management and identify opportunities for process improvement.Participate in manufacturer and vendor reviews to drive process improvements and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.Develop and implement strategies to drive business decisions and achieve exceptional results.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.Minimum 3 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, or related field.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work with large and complex data sets.Excellent communication and project management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.Highly adaptable and flexible, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
