Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a strong Senior Workday Analyst to assist Workday HCM project post go live and they are adding 3-4 Countries. This individual will work closely with the workstream leads and vendor implementation partner to revamp business processes to support the project. This hands-on technical role demands excellent knowledge of HR business processes and methodologies along with a strong analytical and reporting background. The candidate will have direct hands on experience in Workday HCM process design, configuration and implementation. They partner with diverse business stakeholders to lead numerous projects to increase business efficiency and automate business processes in Workday.



Responsibilities:

  • Ensure proper requirements are gathered, documented and clearly state the needs of the business
  • Translate requirements and processes into realistic, innovative business and system design solutions
  • Ensure designs are well documented and socialized with technical teams to achieve alignment on approach and future strategy
  • Work closely with all technical teams involved and close gaps quickly to speed up the system development process.
  • Ensure unit testing and integration testing including the documentation of unit test plans and evidence of testing is completed
  • Conduct quality assurance testing of application and integrations prior to business testing and provide signoff
  • Assist with the user acceptance testing for major initiatives, small projects and enhancements ensuring that the final solution delivers against business requirements.
  • Serve as the conduit between the internal functional owner community and the software development team(s) through which requirements flow and are designed, built and tested.
  • Keep project manager and other critical members of the team updated on task status and ensure risks and issues are logged and tracked
  • Provide input to project plan and create implementation plans for larger more complex deployments
  • Provide post go live / hyper-care support with ability to troubleshoot issues with critical thinking in pressure situations



Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of proven HR experience working as a technical lead and experienced systems analyst for major projects
  • Strong experience with core HR processes and supporting technology platforms
  • 6+ years of strong hands-on technical foundation experience with Workday HCM yet primary skill is as a functional analyst
  • 2+ years of experience with ServiceNow or similar cloud application
  • 2+ years of Beeline experience a plus
  • Technical expertise with application development to assist with the design and specification development desired
  • Ability to analyze and document complex business processes
  • Experience documenting process and system flowcharts in Visio required
  • Experience facilitating, supporting and ensuring traceability with requirements exists during testing phases (SIT, UAT, etc.); experience using testing tools a plus
  • Strong ability to collaborate with G&A IT leaders, business leadership, senior technologists, to define business processes, analyze operational efficiencies, implement creative solutions and measure delivery results.
