SGT University is in search for seasoned academicians with proven track record as Professor-Faculty of Commerce and Management for its campus near Delhi. The University, in its campus spread over 70 acres near Gurgaon, offers courses in Medicine, Engineering, Hotel Management, Business Management, Arts and Science. It nurtures more than seven thousand students and is a hub of activities involving the nation’s who’s who. It is a part of a group that spans fields in education, hospitality, and employs over two thousand people. The campus has accommodation for employees and offers excellent support facilities such as shopping, medical facilities, entertainment and transportation. The campus is located less than 5 km from the Delhi border of Daurala and offers convenient access to Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi.
Position Name: Professor- Faculty of Commerce and Management
Job Description:
The Professor is responsible for program planning, assessment, and development of program sand services at all levels of the Department. He/she manages, hires and develops faculty to achieve institutional goals. The Professor drives excellence in teaching and learning through pedagogical innovations and solutions incorporating new technology, online, and blended options. The Professor works in close collaboration with his/her colleagues at the school’s leadership level and with program managers, faculty development and faculty. He/she is responsible for student satisfaction and assuring that students achieve the learning outcomes identified. He/she is a leader and team player with strong problem solving and communications skills. Has comfort level and passion working in an entrepreneurial, start-up. Good knowledge of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) as per guidelines and parameters of NAAC, NBA.
Qualification & Experience:
Ph.D. in a Management discipline with an excellent research profile, alternatively a Masters or equivalent degree with significant industry experience
Ability to understand and successfully work under a private university’s parameters of academic standards, and business goals and objectives. Fifteen years of managerial experience in a B-School or at university level
Demonstrated leadership skills and impact in an academic setting
Demonstrated experience and comfort working in an entrepreneurial environment, operating with a start-up mentality
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and fluency in spoken and written English
Demonstrated ability to work with multicultural teams and in an international environment
Salary:
As per UGC guidelines and University rules, salary no bar for exceptional candidates
