SGT University is in search of talented Faculty Members with good research orientation for its campus. The position is for Assistant Professor in the field of Agricultural Sciences. The University, in its campus spread over 70 acres near Gurgaon, offers around 160+ programs in Medical and Non-Medical domains. It nurtures more than seven thousand students and is a hub of activities involving the nation’s who’s who. It is a part of a group spanning the fields of education and hospitality. The University employs close to three thousand people. The campus has accommodation for employees and hostels for students and offers excellent support facilities such as shopping complex, medical facilities, sports, entertainment and transportation. The campus is located less than 5 km from the Delhi border of Daurala and offers convenient access to Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi.
Designation: Assistant Professor
Assistant Professor required in the following area of Faculty of Agriculture Sciences:
· Agriculture Economics - 1
Key Responsibility Areas:
· Conduct research in related disciplines and publish in peer-reviewed journals and/or conference proceedings.
· Teach undergraduate and graduate level courses in related disciplines.
· Advise graduate students in course selection, and mentor graduate students in research, participation in professional improvement efforts, and an appropriate level of service to the program, college, university, and discipline is expected.
· Assist and lead in the development and implementation of events and programs for students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community.
· Establish a strong publication record and attract extramural funding.
· Establish new classes as necessary in their discipline.
· Travel off campus to fulfill public relations responsibilities.
· Work outside of traditional work hours for evening orientations, alumni chapter events, community education, etc.
· Meet deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy, professionalism, and customer service.
Agriculture Economics:
· Candidate must know the principles and management of agricultural economics with required UGC Qualification for Assistant Professor.
Qualification: Ph.D./ Master’s degree with First class, Bachelor’s Degree in the appropriate branch of Agriculture, with an exemplary academic record throughout.
Experience:
· Minimum 3 Years of Experience
