Responsibilities include reviewing GST reconciliations, monitoring input tax credit eligibility, and providing expert tax guidance on business transactions.Filing of monthly/quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1, 3B, 9, 9C)Reviewing GST reconciliations (GSTR 2A/2B vs books) and addressing discrepanciesEnsuring Input Tax Credit (ITC) eligibility and utilizationCompliance with Reverse Charge Mechanism (RCM) and related accounting proceduresProviding tax advice on business transactions, contracts, and inter/intra-state suppliesAnalyzing implications of GST amendments, circulars, and notificationsEvaluating the impact of reverse charge, job work, e-invoicing, and e-way bill requirementsManaging audit and assessment processes, including internal, statutory, and departmental auditsPreparing and managing responses to notices, summons, and queries from tax authoritiesCollaborating with consultants and legal counsel for departmental litigation mattersImproving process efficiency through SAP implementation, streamlining tax processes, and automating complianceMaintaining accurate documentation and tax records as required by law
