Company DescriptionGambol is one of India’s fastest-growing multi-brand sports retailers, known for honest guidance, foot education, premium brand curation, and an unmatched in-store experience.With 37k+ Instagram community, strong online presence, and flagship stores in Ahmedabad, we are now expanding to multiple large-format experience stores.We are building a data-driven, system-first inventory function, and we’re looking for a sharp, analytical Inventory Manager who can scale with us.Role DescriptionWe are hiring a data-driven Merchandise Planner who can convert sales trends into effective preorders, accurate buying plans, and tight inventory health.You will own:stock accuracyreplenishmentageing controlsize-curve planningreportingdemand forecastingreorder planningdead stock reductionwarehouse → store movementThis is not a warehouse job.This is not a stock movement job.This is a category-planning, data-analysis, and buying-support role.This role directly impacts sales, margins, cashflow, and customer experience.This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad.What We’re Looking ForMust-Have Experience4–8 years in retail inventory / merchandise planning / demand planningPreferably from: Decathlon, Puma, Adidas, Skechers, Zudio, Reliance Trends, Lifestyle, Shopper Stop, Footwear chainsStrong understanding of footwear/apparel SKU complexityProven expertise in Excel (Pivot, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Index-Match)High attention to detail and operational disciplineSkills & TraitsAnalytical mindset with commercial understandingStrong coordination with stores, warehouse & vendorsProcess-driven & highly organisedComfortable with fast-moving, high-SKU environmentsAbility to set up dashboards and automate reportsCalm, systematic and proactive problem solverThrives in a rapidly scaling businessCompensation₹50,000 – ₹80,000/month(Extra budget if they come from a top brand planning team)
