Job PositionWe are seeking an experienced Chief Technology Officer to lead our technology and intellectual property initiatives.This role is a key build-to-own opportunity, where you will architect systems that are technically sound, patent-ready, and commercially deployable.Develop and implement end-to-end architecture, engineering, and technical due diligence for all patent-backed productsSupervise prototype builds (internal or partner teams) across AI, data, and cloud stacksCreate shared technology frameworks, documentation, and DevOps hygiene across the portfolioLiaise with patent attorneys for technical drafting and claims clarityContribute to thought leadership and investor communication on technology differentiation; represent in investor and client discussionsRequirementsDemonstrated excellence in your work areaComplete fluency with machine learning, deep learning, general AI, and agentic AI10-15 years of experience in data, AI, product, or software engineering (preferably 5 years in a startup)Proven record of shipping minimum viable products or leading small engineering podsExperience creating or being part of a winning product with over 100 B2B customersHands-on experience with at least two cloud platforms and complete proficiency in one (any two of AWS, GCP, or Azure)Fluency in Python (APIs, data, automation)Expertise in PyTorch or TensorFlow (at least one) - ability to operationalize open-source AI toolsExperience in system design and early-stage product developmentComfort leading small distributed freelancer podsWorking knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and API-based architectureAbility to turn prototypes into scalable architectures and explain technical concepts to non-technical investorsExposure to intellectual property creation, with a patent highly preferredEngagement ModelFlexible, remote work arrangement approximately 10 hours per week (min. 8h) to startNo fixed remunerationEquity, patent co-inventorship, and brand visibility within the organization
