Job DescriptionThe SMT Programmer role entails timely delivery of programs within established production timelines. Key responsibilities include:Programming new product requests in each workcell.Maintaining a variance of +/- 1% of quoted time in SMT programs according to monthly specifications.Assisting in modification, optimization, and line balancing requests from manufacturing engineers.Updating all SMT backup information on a monthly basis.Implementing the MES Quality Management system for manufacturing engineering according to new product introductions from upper management.Ensuring zero discrepancies in internal system definitions or adjustments for new SMT equipment platforms.Providing training to manufacturing engineering technicians on Valor software for generating programs and visual aids.Training Manufacturing Engineers in process route generation within the MES system.Implementing at least one Engineering improvement project.Ideal Candidate RequirementsStrong knowledge of global and regional logistics operations and industry.Financial and analytical ability with proficiency in managing business analytics.Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products, and email skills.
