Job Title: Kiln and Raw Mill Operations ExpertThe role of the Kiln and Raw Mill Operations Expert is a critical position that requires a high level of technical expertise and operational knowledge. The incumbent will be responsible for operating and maintaining the kiln, raw mill, and related equipment from the Central Control Room (CCR). This involves monitoring plant parameters, making necessary adjustments to maintain stable operations, and ensuring efficient operation of the Pyro section.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical engineering or a related discipline, with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a CCR Operator in a cement plant. They should possess practical knowledge of kiln, raw mill, and Pyro-processing circuits, as well as familiarity with process parameters, control logic, and DCS operations.Key Responsibilities:Operate kiln, raw mill, and related equipment from the CCRMonitor plant parameters and make necessary adjustments to maintain stable operationsEnsure efficient operation of the Pyro sectionMaintain raw mill operations within defined process and quality standardsCoordinate with field operators for smooth and safe running of equipmentRespond promptly to operational upsets; troubleshoot and optimize process conditionsRecord plant data, prepare daily operational reports, and communicate deviationsEnsure adherence to safety, environment, and quality protocolsAssist in shutdown/start-up activities and maintain process disciplineQualifications:Education: Diploma in Chemical Engineering / B.Sc / M.Sc (Chemistry or related discipline)Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a CCR Operator in a cement plantTechnical Skills:Practical knowledge of kiln, raw mill, and Pyro-processing circuitsFamiliarity with process parameters, control logic, and DCS operationsAbility to identify abnormalities and respond effectively
