UAV Systems Design and DevelopmentThis is a unique opportunity to lead the design and development of avionics systems for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for researching and selecting suitable electronic components, sensors, and hardware for performance, reliability, and environmental adaptability.The role involves integrating sensors such as GPS, IMU, lidar, radar, and vision systems for navigation, obstacle avoidance, and situational awareness. You will also develop, test, and maintain autopilot and navigation software, leveraging real-time data and control algorithms.Key responsibilities include assembling, integrating, and testing electrical and propulsion systems, including BLDC motors, EFI Internal Combustion Engines (ICE), JET Engines, and other configurations. Comprehensive testing will be conducted to validate UAV performance, stability, and reliability under diverse operational conditions.Additionally, you will implement redundancy and fail-safe mechanisms to ensure safe and reliable operations during flight. You will document deviations and maintain records of design, testing, and configuration processes for regulatory compliance.Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to optimize UAV systems. You will ensure adherence to aviation regulations and standards, participating in certification processes. Finally, you will prepare technical reports, operational manuals, and detailed documentation for regulatory and internal purposes.Staying updated with emerging technologies and industry trends will enhance UAV capabilities. Contributing to R&D efforts for cutting-edge UAV system innovations is also expected.
