Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Mainframe DB2 Database Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mainframe Db2 v12/v13 Database System Administration on z/OS, with expertise in installation, upgrade, patching, configuration, and operations.Required Skills and QualificationsExperience in Mainframe Db2 v12/v13 Database System Administration on z/OSDB2 installation, upgrade, patching, configuration, and operationsProficiency in DB2, VSAM Systems Performance Tuning and Capacity PlanningExperience in Data Sharing setup in Parallel Sysplex environmentKnowledge in ACF2/RACF, CICS v5Desired CompetenciesIn addition to the above skills, the ideal candidate should have experience with Database ISV Tools and Products like OmegaMon and AdminTool, as well as knowledge of database-related utilities such as Unload, Load, DSNJU003, DSNJU004, Reorg, Runstats, image copy.The successful candidate will also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.A good understanding of REXX, CLIST, JCL, JES, and Assembler is also desired.
