Documentation Specialist

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Documentation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality technical documents that enable internal teams, partners, and customers to understand and use our systems effectively.The ideal candidate has strong technical communication skills, hands-on experience in technical writing, and formal training from a reputable technical writing institute. You will work closely with our engineering, product, and operations teams to develop comprehensive documentation, including user manuals, engineering specifications, SOPs, installation guides, release notes, and whitepapers.Responsibilities include translating complex technical information into clear, concise language, developing standardized documentation templates, reviewing and revising documents for clarity, grammar, completeness, and compliance with internal and industry standards, managing version control and documentation workflows, and contributing to knowledge-base content, internal documentation, and training materials.Required Skills and QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, MSc.Physics, Technical Communication, or a related fieldProven experience (2–5 years preferred) as a Technical Writer in technology, aerospace, engineering, or related domainsStrong understanding of technical writing conventions, documentation lifecycles, and content structuringOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsAbility to understand and simplify complex technical conceptsProficiency with documentation tools such as MS Office, Confluence, MadCap Flare, LaTeX, or similarBenefitsCertification or formal training from a recognized Technical Writing InstituteExperience working in aerospace, defense, R&D, or high-technology environmentsFamiliarity with propulsion systems, electronics, avionics, or space-system engineering conceptsKnowledge of version control tools (Git, SVN) and collaborative development environmentsExperience with illustration tools for technical diagrams (Visio, Illustrator, SolidWorks Composer, etc.)OthersStrong analytical and problem-solving abilityHigh attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently and in cross-functional teamsStrong ownership mindset and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
