Key responsibilities of this role include creating high-quality documentation that adheres to industry standards and meets the needs of our target audience.The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of product details and technology, and be able to translate complex concepts into clear and concise end-user documentation.This position involves taking ownership of product documentation with minimal supervision, focusing on presenting information in an organized and clear manner.Collaboration with Development and QA teams is essential for gaining a comprehensive understanding of the product and documentation requirements.Source documents such as Software Requirements, Product Specifications, Technical Specifications, and Change Requests will be analyzed to inform documentation development.Release Notes, Installation Guides, and User Guides will be written, as well as API documentation for API users, including API references and developer guides.Attention to detail and consistency in formatting and language are crucial, with a strong emphasis on grammar, usage, and punctuation.Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills, structuring content effectively, understanding technology trends, and conducting independent research are all key requirements.Familiarity with Information Mapping, Agile development, SDLC, and DDLC methodologies is also necessary, as is in-depth knowledge of MadCap Flare, Confluence, and MS Word.
