Sr. Infrastructure EngineerJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing load balancing architectures, configuring and troubleshooting F5 BIG-IP platforms, and ensuring high availability, scalability, and reliability of applications and services.The successful candidate will have excellent technical skills, including knowledge of load balancing mechanisms, iRules, SSL offloading, and data groups. They will also have experience with traffic behavior, health monitors, DNS, and global traffic management. In addition, the candidate should have basic knowledge of networking protocols, including OSI Layer 2, Layer 3 switching/routing, DNS/DHCP, network virtualization, and higher layer protocols such as SSL/TLS and HTTP.Responsibilities:Configure, deploy, and manage load balancing solutions using F5 BIG-IP platforms.Design and implement redundant and highly available load balancing architectures.Monitor load balancer performance, server health, and traffic flow using tools such as SNMP.Ensure load balancing infrastructure complies with security standards and support WAF, and DDoS protection where applicable.Document system configurations, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines.Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to incidents impacting application delivery.Requirements:3+ years of experience in configuring and troubleshooting F5 Load balancers.Solid understanding of Load balancing mechanisms, iRules, SSL offloading and Data groups.Knowledge of Traffic Behavior with Profiles, Health Monitors, DNS and Global Traffic management.Kubernetes, AS3 implementations, REST API Integrations.Basic knowledge of Networking: OSI Layer 2 (Spanning tree, vPC, LACP, VLAN, etc), Layer 3 switching /routing (OSPF, BGP, IPv4/6), DNS/DHCP, network virtualization (VRF), basics of higher layer protocols: SSL/TLS, HTTP.
