Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day support for the global ServiceNow SPM users, including troubleshooting issues, answering questions, and resolving technical problems related to the SPM processes.

Assist with the configuration and maintenance of the ServiceNow SPM product, including demand, project, portfolio, and resource management.

Support end users by providing training and guidance on how to use SPM tools effectively, ensuring adoption and best practices are followed.

Identify, track, and resolve platform issues and defects, escalating to the product owner SPM as needed.

Analyze and structure incoming demands for technical or functional enhancement of the implemented platform capabilities

Leverage deep knowledge of ServiceNow capabilities to configure, integrate, and extend out-of-the-box solutions.

Design, develop, and implement custom applications and modules on the ServiceNow platform based on business requirements if no out-of-the-box resp. standard capability can be applied

Design and develop API, Service Graph Connector and other integrations between ServiceNow and third-party applications, ensuring data accuracy and system performance.

Work closely with process owners, service owners and project managers to understand requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.

Work with stakeholders to gather feedback, identify pain points, and suggest improvements or enhancements to SPM processes and workflows.

Work with ServiceNow product owners, administrators and developers to ensure smooth operation of the SPM suite and integration with other ServiceNow modules.

Ensure out of the box compatibility, robust code, security guideline compliance, development standards and corporate guidelines.

Provide advanced technical support and problem resolution for complex ServiceNow incidents and issues.

Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, and end-user manuals.

Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Support the testing of new ServiceNow releases, features, updates, and integrations within the SPM module, ensuring that changes are properly validated before deployment.



Required Qualifications

Minimum of 6+ years of ServiceNow development experience, including custom application development and system integrations.

Minimum of 3+ years of experience working with the Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM/ITBM) module.

Familiarity with ServiceNow's SPM product, including project, portfolio, demand and resource management.

Expertise in ServiceNow modules such as CORE, ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, CSM, or LSD.

Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript, AngularJS, Glide API, and ServiceNow scripting (Client/Server scripts, Business Rules, UI Actions, etc.).

Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs, web services, and working knowledge of integration protocols.

Demonstratable experience with database design schemas and data modeling

Demonstratable experience with designing and writing efficient, integrative and reusable code

Ability to deliver high-quality code, adhering to best practices and company standards.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, to diagnose and troubleshoot platform issues efficiently.

Excellent communication skills to support end users and collaborate with technical teams.

Strong documentation skills as written text but also in visualization

Thoroughly attention to detail in platform maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentation.

ServiceNow Expert System Administrator (CSA), Expert Application Developer and ITBM/SPM certification

Familiarity with project management frameworks (Agile, Waterfall).

Ability to “think out of the box” and “follow the big picture”
