The role involves collaborating with internal teams and external partners to maintain profitability while delivering cost-effective solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, update, and maintain rate sheets for air, sea, and land freight across various trade lanesPrepare accurate and competitive quotations for customers and internal sales teams within defined turnaround timesLiaise with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and agents to obtain the most cost-effective rates and service optionsAnalyse cost components, negotiate buying rates, and ensure profit margins align with company policiesCollaborate with sales, operations, and procurement teams to ensure accurate costing and timely proposal submissionsMaintain and update pricing databases, contracts, and rate agreements in the internal systemSupport the sales team in clarifying rate structures, surcharges, and service details to ensure transparency with clientsQualificationsEducational background in technology (degree preferably MSc, Diploma, or B.Tech)Minimum 2 years of work experience in a similar role within the logistics domain or fresherExcellent communication and negotiation skillStrong understanding of logistics operationsProficiency in MS Excel and pricing or ERP toolsAbility to manage multiple quotations under tight deadlines
