We are a group of IIT Bombay graduates who are keen to use technology to positively impact the
common man's life by giving valuable solutions to day-to-day life's problems. We provide end-to-end
solutions to remote monitoring and automation requirements focused on making cities and villages
smart. We have an assortment of devices connected over GPRS, 4G-LTE, Wi-Fi, LoRa sending the sensed
data to our cloud. The cloud finally delivers high-end insights and analytics to end-users in the most
efficient and easy-to-understand way, thereby empowering them with real-time complex insights to
deliver perfection.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist with 2-5 years of experience specializing in machine learning,
deep learning, and big data technologies. This role requires a blend of enhancing existing ML libraries
and innovating new ones. As a key member of our data science team, you will collaborate with our
Product Development team to develop analytics solutions for various sectors, including Energy
Management Systems, Water Management Solutions, Vibration Monitoring, and Process Industries. Your
expertise will be vital in data management, technological strategy, and implementing best practices.
Job Responsibilities:
● Develop and implement machine learning solutions tailored to diverse datasets, including small
to large scale, and various formats like time series and 3D matrices.
● Analyze data to extract insights and use it to predict industry-specific KPIs.
● Create algorithms for Time Series Forecasting, Predictive Maintenance, Vibration Monitoring,
etc.
● Work with the Product team to bring models into production.
● Stay updated with the latest in machine learning, attending conferences and engaging in
continuous learning.
● Collaboratively solve complex IoT problems using ML solutions in a team environment.
● Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of data scientists and analytics
professionals.
● Lead interdisciplinary teams, innovate in data system processes, and drive technological
advancements in the company.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Machine Learning, Operational
Research, Statistics, Mathematics, etc.) or equivalent experience.
● Master's degree preferred.
● 2-5 years of experience in Data Science and analytics in an industry setting.●
Proficiency in deep learning algorithms and techniques (CNN, LSTM, RNN, Optimisation Techniques, Reinforcement Learning).
● Demonstrated organizational, multitasking, communication, and leadership skills.
● Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Desired Skills:
● Proficiency in Python programming.
● Experience in predictive modelling, time-series forecasting, wavelet transform, and FFT.
● Expertise in implementing and validating big data algorithms and models, including Deep
Learning models (CNN, RNN, LSTM, etc.).
● Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies like PySpark.
● Experience in deployment technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
● Ability to integrate new techniques into live production environments.
● Knowledge of IoT applications across various industries (Smart Cities, Energy, Manufacturing,
etc.).
● Skills in translating business questions into analytical solutions and effectively communicating
results.
● Proficiency in data visualization tools and techniques.
● Understanding of data governance, security principles, and agile methodologies.
