Job DescriptionJob Title: Business AnalystJob Summary: The Business Analyst is responsible for analysing and documenting businessprocesses, gathering and documenting business requirements, and ensuring that proposedsolutions meet business needs. They bridge the gap between business stakeholders and thedevelopment team.Responsibilities:1. Requirements Gathering: Elicit, document, and manage business requirements fromstakeholders.2. Data Analysis: Analyse data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform businessdecisions.3. Process Analysis: Evaluate and document current business processes and recommendimprovements.4. System Analysis: Analyse existing systems, their functionalities, and limitations to identifyopportunities for enhancement.5. Documentation: Create and maintain clear and comprehensive business requirementsdocuments, use cases, and user stories.6. Communication: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams,ensuring effective communication and understanding of requirements.7. Testing Support: Collaborate with quality assurance teams to define test cases and ensurethat the delivered solution meets the specified requirements.8. Project Management: Assist in project planning, tracking, and management by providinginput on scope, timeline, and resource requirements.9. Change Management: Support the implementation of new systems or processes, includingtraining and post-implementation support.Qualifications:1. Experience: Minimum, 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role.2. Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with business analytical tools, as well as strongunderstanding of technology and systems.3. Project Management: Familiarity with project management concepts and methodologies-Agile or SCRUM, Elicitation tools, Azure DevOps, JIRA.4. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to dissectcomplex business problems and provide feasible solutions.5. Domain Knowledge: Depending on the industry, knowledge of specific business domains,such as US healthcare, and/or US Mortgage, is required.6. Certifications: Preferred-Relevant certifications, such as Certified Business AnalysisProfessional (CBAP) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).7. Documentation Skills: Proficiency in creating detailed and organized documentation,including business requirements, use cases, and process flows.8. Interpersonal Skills: The ability to work collaboratively, build relationships, and facilitatemeetings and workshops.9. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectivelyconvey ideas and requirements to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.10. Education: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration,Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
