Role Overview:

The Sourcing Manager will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and managing supplier relationships to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services. This role requires expertise in vendor management, price negotiations, and quality assurance while aligning with company goals to drive operational efficiency and cost savings.



Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sourcing and Vendor Management:

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to meet company objectives in quality, cost, and delivery.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers/vendors in alignment with company requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers to ensure reliability and performance.

Cost Management and Negotiations:

  • Negotiate contracts, payment terms, and pricing agreements with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
  • Continuously analyze market trends to secure competitive pricing and advantageous terms.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to guarantee product and service quality.

Process Optimization and Reporting:

  • Collaborate with internal departments (Sales, Operations, Finance) to understand sourcing needs.
  • Develop and maintain procurement reports, including cost analysis, supplier performance metrics, and sourcing KPIs.


Risk Management:

  • Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure alternative sourcing plans to avoid disruptions.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in B2B environments.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong data analysis and cost evaluation capabilities.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
