As a Sourcing Manager , you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of consumables, managing vendor relationships, facilitating vendor onboarding, and handling complex site-level sourcing needs. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that inventory management processes are seamless and optimized for efficiency. This role demands a proactive individual with exceptional negotiation skills, attention to detail, and a strategic mindset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement of Consumables : Develop and implement effective strategies for sourcing consumables, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality standards.
  • Vendor Management : Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with key vendors, ensuring reliable supply chains and consistent service quality.
  • Vendor Onboarding : Streamline and standardize the onboarding process for new vendors, ensuring compliance with WCube’s procurement policies and quality standards.
  • Complex Site-Level Sourcing : Oversee sourcing requirements for multiple or large-scale sites, addressing unique needs and challenges with customized solutions.
  • Inventory Management : Collaborate with internal teams to maintain optimal inventory levels, minimize waste, and ensure timely replenishment.
  • Contract Negotiation : Negotiate favorable terms and contracts with suppliers, balancing cost, quality, and risk.
  • Performance Metrics : Monitor supplier performance, ensuring key metrics such as delivery timelines, cost savings, and quality compliance are consistently met.
  • Cost Optimization : Identify opportunities to reduce procurement costs without compromising quality or operational efficiency.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with operations, logistics, and finance teams to align sourcing strategies with company objectives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 5-7 years  of experience in procurement, vendor management, and sourcing, preferably in consumables or inventory-driven industries.
  • Proven track record of managing complex vendor networks and handling site-level sourcing requirements.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and inventory management tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
