Job Description: Sourcing Executive

Position Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sourcing Executive to join our team. The Sourcing Executive will play a critical role in vendor onboarding, management, and procurement activities, ensuring seamless supply chain operations. This role involves identifying reliable vendors, negotiating favorable terms, and maintaining vendor relationships to meet the company’s operational and business needs.



Key Responsibilities:

1. Vendor Onboarding:

  • Identify and evaluate potential vendors to ensure alignment with company requirements and standards.
  • Oversee the complete vendor onboarding process, including documentation, compliance checks, and approvals.
  • Maintain an up-to-date database of all onboarded vendors, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records.

2. Vendor Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to foster long-term collaboration.
  • Monitor vendor performance through metrics such as quality, delivery timelines, and service levels.
  • Address and resolve any vendor-related issues promptly to ensure smooth operations.

3. Sourcing & Procurement:

  • Source quality products and services at competitive prices to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand sourcing needs and ensure timely procurement of goods.
  • Negotiate terms and contracts with vendors to achieve cost savings without compromising on quality.

4. RFQ Support:

  • Assist in gathering quotes from vendors for RFQs (Request for Quotations) within 24 hours of receipt.
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely responses to sourcing inquiries.

5. Market Research & Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to identify new vendors, products, and opportunities for cost optimization.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and best practices in procurement and sourcing.

6. Compliance & Record Keeping:

  • Ensure vendor compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
  • Maintain organized records of vendor agreements, contracts, and communications for audit purposes.

7. Collaboration & Reporting:

  • Work closely with the sourcing, sales, and operations teams to align sourcing strategies with business goals.
  • Prepare regular reports on vendor performance, sourcing activities, and cost savings achieved.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or vendor management.
  • Familiarity with procurement software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage vendor relationships effectively.

Work Arrangement:
