Job RoleAs an AI engineer, you will be responsible for developing and deploying artificial intelligence workflows and applications.Design, build, and iterate large language model (LLM)-powered workflows for retrieval, routing, tool use, function calling, and multi-step agents.Implement agent-based applications that plan, call tools/api's, and maintain state across tasks.Build robust and scalable RAG pipelines for data ingestion, chunking, embeddings, indexing, and latency-optimized retrieval.Own prompt engineering and evaluation, including A/B tests, guardrails, and metrics like latency, cost, quality, and safety.Productionize models/workflows with observability, cost controls, and fallbacks.Ship backend services and APIs integrating with data stores and vector DBs.Collaborate with product managers/designers to translate requirements into reliable and user-facing features.Key SkillsHands-on experience with LLMs and orchestration frameworks like LangChain or custom.Proficiency in Python, building RESTful services, and writing clean, tested code.Experience with RAG, vector databases, embeddings, and understanding of agent patterns and workflow engines.Familiarity with prompt design, safety/guardrails, and evaluation frameworks.Basic knowledge of cloud deployment, Docker, Git, CI/CD, and a strong debugging mindset.Bonus SkillsFastAPI/Flask, Celery/queues, and streaming UIs.Model fine-tuning, dataset curation, and prompt-cache strategies.Monitoring/tracing tools like OpenTelemetry.Frontend basics like React/Next.js for UX collaboration.Data privacy and security best practices.
