Job Title: Senior Accounting Manager Job Description:The Senior Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial accounting functions within the company. This role requires a deep understanding of construction accounting principles, financial management, and compliance.This individual will play a vital role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining fiscal discipline, and supporting the overall success of construction projects.Key responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day accounting activities, preparing and analysing monthly and quarterly financial statements, and coordinating the construction draw process.Additionally, this person will manage the yearly audit and tax compliance process, establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets, and provide management with information vital to the decision-making process. Required Skills and Qualifications:CA / CPA certification with 8-10 years of experience in the real estate / construction industry.Highly organized with strong attention to detail and quality of deliverables.Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.Must have excellent work ethic, high integrity, and excellent follow-up skills.Ability to demonstrate critical thinking skills in decision making.Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.Demonstrated leadership and management skills.Superior ability to track and meet deadlines, focused on overcoming obstacles.High level of computer skills, including extensive experience with Yardi or similar real estate accounting systems.Ability to take initiative and manage teams effectively.
