The ideal candidate will have worked in construction accounting or contractor accounting, with knowledge of percentage completion method of accounting.Responsibilities include all aspects of accounting operations and cash management, including production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and comprehensive set of controls and budgets.The Construction Accounting Manager will oversee day-to-day accounting activities, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries, to ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions.Key responsibilities also include preparing and analyzing monthly and quarterly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.The manager will also coordinate and facilitate the construction draw process, ensuring timely and accurate disbursement of funds for construction activities.Additionally, the Construction Accounting Manager will manage the yearly audit and tax compliance process, establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets, and provide management with information vital to the decision-making process.
