About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Near Real-Time (NRT) Data Engineer with expertise in Google BigQuery to join our dynamic Data Engineering team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining near real-time data pipelines and solutions that empower our organization with data-driven insights. If you have a passion for data engineering, cloud computing, and building scalable data systems, this role is perfect for you

Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain near real-time data processing pipelines using Google Big Query and other GCP services.
Develop, optimize, and manage SQL-based ETL processes to ensure efficient data ingestion and transformation.
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver accurate, timely, and high-quality data solutions.
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure smooth operation and data accuracy.
Implement data validation, quality checks, and governance frameworks to ensure data consistency and integrity.
Develop and maintain technical documentation for data processes, pipelines, and system architecture.
Identify, analyze, and resolve performance bottlenecks in data processing and SQL queries.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement scalable and efficient data architectures.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new features in Google Big Query and other GCP data tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, and BQ.
Hands-on experience with Google Big Query, including advanced SQL query writing, optimization, and performance tuning.
Experience with real-time or near real-time data processing frameworks and tools (e.g., Apache Beam, Apache Kafka, Spark Streaming).
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services
Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data pipeline architectures.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
