The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining near real-time data pipelines and solutions that empower our organization with data-driven insights. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain near real-time data processing pipelines using Google Big Query and other GCP services.
  • Develop, optimize, and manage SQL-based ETL processes to ensure efficient data ingestion and transformation.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver accurate, timely, and high-quality data solutions.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure smooth operation and data accuracy.
  • Implement data validation, quality checks, and governance frameworks to ensure data consistency and integrity.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for data processes, pipelines, and system architecture.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve performance bottlenecks in data processing and SQL queries.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement scalable and efficient data architectures.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new features in Google Big Query and other GCP data tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, and BQ.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Big Query, including advanced SQL query writing, optimization, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with real-time or near real-time data processing frameworks and tools (e.g., Apache Beam, Apache Kafka, Spark Streaming).
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data pipeline architectures.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
