Job Description: QA EngineerExperience: 7 YearsLocation: Noida (On-Site)About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer with 7+ years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing across web, API, UI, and performance testing domains. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in modern automation frameworks such as Playwright, Karate, and Cypress, along with strong JavaScript skills for writing scalable and maintainable test scripts. This is a full-time onsite role based in Noida.Key ResponsibilitiesAutomation & Manual TestingDesign, develop, and execute automation test scripts for UI and API using Playwright, Karate, and Cypress.Perform manual functional, regression, integration, and system testing.Develop reusable, modular, and robust automation frameworks.API, UI & Performance TestingAutomate REST/SOAP APIs using Karate and Cypress.Perform UI automation using Playwright with strong JavaScript coding.Conduct performance tests using JMeter, analyze results, and provide bottleneck insights.Test Planning & DocumentationCreate detailed test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and maintain comprehensive test documentation.Participate in requirement analysis, story grooming, and sprint planning sessions.Quality Assurance & CI/CDIntegrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.Ensure high-quality releases using automated smoke/regression suites.Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve issues and enhance test coverage.Database & Defect ManagementPerform basic SQL queries for backend data validation.Log, track, and verify defects using tools like JIRA or similar ALMs.Must-Have SkillsManual Testing (Functional, Regression, Integration)Automation Testing:Playwright (JavaScript)Karate Framework (API/UI)Cypress (API/UI)JavaScript (strong hands-on coding for Playwright)JMeter (API/Performance testing)SQL (basic DB verification queries)CI/CD experience with Jenkins and GitHub ActionsStrong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologyNice-to-Have SkillsUnderstanding of AI-powered test automation tools or frameworks.Exposure to AI-based test data management, data generation, and optimization.Experience contributing to testing innovations and automation strategy improvements.
