System Software Development Engineer

Designs, develops, integrates, tests, validates, and/or debugs software across multiple layers of the software stack spanning firmware, drivers, operating systems, middleware, frameworks, algorithms, and applications/UI for a specific technology, product/platform, and/or market segment, including the development of software to enable specific features, capabilities, solutions, reference platforms, or Intel products*Qualifications:*We are seeking a highly skilled System Software Development Engineer to join our Analytics system telemetry teamYou will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust telemetry systems that collect, process, and analyze performance data from distributed systems at scaleThis role requires deep technical expertise in systems programming and a passion for building reliable, high-performance softwareMinimum Qualifications:7+ yrs exp with Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related technical field.Technical Expertise include but not limit to C, C++, PythonStrong understanding of memory management, pointers, and system-level programmingExperience with multi-threading, concurrency, and synchronizationKnowledge of performance optimization techniquesshould be able to Design and implement telemetry collection agents and data processing pipelinesDevelop high-performance, low-latency telemetry systems using C/C++ for system-level componentsBuild telemetry analysis tools and automation scripts using PythonOptimize data collection mechanisms to minimize system overhead and resource consumptionImplement real-time data streaming and batch processing solutionsDesign APIs and interfaces for telemetry data access and integrationDebug complex system-level issues across distributed environmentsEnsure telemetry systems meet reliability, scalability, and security requirementsCollaborate with global platform teams to instrument applications and servicesMaintain and enhance existing telemetry servicesWork effectively in cross-functional teams with product managers, SREs, and other engineersCommunicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersProvide constructive code reviews and technical feedbackMentor junior engineers and share knowledge proactivelyParticipate actively in design discussions and technical decision-makingWrite clean, well-documented, and testable code
