Job Title: Data Protection ProfessionalThe primary objective of the Data Protection Professional is to design and implement robust data protection solutions, safeguarding sensitive information by ensuring compliance with global and regional data privacy regulations.Design and Implementation: Develop and deploy advanced data protection technologies such as DLP, encryption, and data masking/tokenization to prevent unauthorized access or exfiltration.Policy Management: Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to create, refine, and enforce data protection policies, standards, and procedures that meet industry best practices.System Administration: Manage and optimize data protection infrastructure, including Key Management Systems (KMS), Hardware Security Modules (HSMs), and cloud-native protection services.Incident Response: Participate in security incident response activities related to data breaches or data exfiltration events, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.Compliance & Auditing: Ensure data processing activities comply with regulatory requirements and prepare documentation and evidence for internal and external audits.Security Architecture: Provide security expertise to development and operations teams on integrating data protection controls into new and existing applications and infrastructure.Vulnerability Management: Identify and mitigate data-related security vulnerabilities to prevent attacks and data breaches.This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
