Privacy and Legal Compliance ExpertWe are seeking an experienced legal professional to oversee our organization's privacy, compliance, internal audits, and operational management. The candidate will report directly to the Global Data Protection Officer and work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners.This role supports our data privacy program, ensuring compliance with global and Indian privacy laws and regulations. Responsibilities include coordinating and managing data privacy issues, conducting regular audits, and implementing campus-wide privacy strategies.Develop and implement robust privacy compliance strategies in line with Indian data protection laws and international regulations.Conduct regular privacy and data protection audits; identify risks, recommend remediation measures, and track implementation.C coordinate with operational teams to ensure compliant handling of personal data; provide legal and strategic advice on privacy issues.Draft, review, and update privacy policies, procedures, and notices tailored for educational settings.Qualifications:A minimum 4 years of experience in privacy or compliance, with exposure to audit and operations.Familiarity with Indian data privacy laws and global regulatory frameworks.Law degree (LL.B.) from a recognized university.CIPP/CIPM certification (or equivalent) preferred.This is a challenging role that requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
