Backend Engineer Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Backend Engineer to join our company. This is an opportunity to work with a dynamic team on exciting and impactful projects.As a Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining and improving software (backend and databases in particular). You will also manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables, as well as contribute to the growth of the team through interviewing, on-boarding, or other recruitment efforts.Key Responsibilities:Rapidly develop next-generation scalable, flexible, and high-performance systems.Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software (backend and databases in particular).Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.DevOps tasks.Contribute to the growth of the team through interviewing, on-boarding, or other recruitment efforts.Requirements:BA/BS or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or equivalent practical experience.+5 years of experience.Strong knowledge in SQL and noSQL databases such as Redis, Postgres or Cassandra.Fluency in Python and Ruby on Rails.Knowledge in Web servers and Web application servers (e.g., Apache, Jetty, Tomcat, IIS).Knowledge in code repository like Git.Ability to multi-task and adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and tight timelines.Database design skills.Perfect quality code.Excellent organizational skills and proven analytical, planning, problem solving skills.Full stack with background in ReactJS is a plus.Benefits:Remote work opportunity.Dynamic and challenging environment.Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies.Collaborative and supportive team.About Us:We are a leading IT consulting company providing solutions to some of the world's largest industrial and services groups.
