Job Summary:We are seeking a seasoned professional to assume the role of Indirect Tax Manager. In this capacity, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and submission of timely and accurate monthly/quarterly GST returns.Your responsibilities will include reviewing GST reconciliations, addressing any discrepancies, monitoring Input Tax Credit eligibility and utilization, and ensuring RCM compliance and related accounting processes are in place.You will provide tax advisory services on business transactions, contracts, and inter/intra-state supplies, analyzing the impact of GST amendments, circulars, and notifications, and evaluating implications of reverse charge, job work, e-invoicing, and e-way bill requirements.Additionally, you will handle GST audits by internal, statutory, and departmental auditors, prepare and manage replies to notices, summons, and queries from tax authorities, and coordinate with consultants and legal counsel for departmental litigation matters.To excel in this role, you must have a strong understanding of GST and experience in filing GST returns. You will also be responsible for streamlining tax processes and automating compliance through SAP, maintaining documentation and tax records as per legal requirements.
