Financial Operations SpecialistWe are seeking a seasoned Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for owning and optimizing financial operations, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and strategic financial control across all cash flows, reconciliations, and multi-platform transactions.Key ResponsibilitiesReconciliation Ownership:Perform daily, weekly, and monthly payment gateway reconciliations (Stripe, PayPal, Authorize.net, Shopify Payments, etc.).Match order-level revenue to settlement deposits across multiple platforms.Investigate and resolve discrepancies, missing transactions, or incorrect mappings.Oversee transaction-level reconciliation for refunds, chargebacks, credits, and fees.Cash Movement & Treasury Management:Monitor, track, and forecast cash inflows and outflows across all financial accounts.Maintain accurate reporting of bank balances, reserves, rolling payouts, and liabilities.Work with banks and processors to resolve settlement delays or unusual cash fluctuations.Financial Reporting & Controls:Prepare structured daily/weekly finance dashboards and variance reports.Strengthen internal controls for financial accuracy and fraud prevention.Assist with monthly close: accruals, revenue recognition, adjustments, and financial statements.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with operations, accounting, marketing, and customer support to validate financial data.Communicate findings and risks to leadership with clarity and actionable insights.
