Position NameLifting & Rigging Supervisor - Construction FieldReporting ToProject Safety Manager/ LeadEducational Qualification RequiredAny degree/ Diploma - Mechanical /Civil + Lifting/ rigging certificationExperience RequiredQuantity: 10+ years 5 years post certificationQuality:Should have worked in large construction sites in India and abroad.Must have hands on experience on green field / brown field projectsPurpose of the Position: To prepare & carry out lifting & rigging related intervention among site personnel & conduct awareness programs to sustain an accident-free site related to lifting & rigging.He is responsible for successfully implementing Lifting and rigging procedure at with a support and coordination of High risk Focus team (Lifting and Rigging)Review and approve lift plan, Method statement and HIRAProvide necessary support to prepare lifting operations SOPReview and random clearance for lifting permit and lift plans by daily basisMonitoring the critical lifts for safe executionDeliver / witness tool box talk at project sitesNecessary review and support for basic, intermediate & critical lifting activitiesInspection of lifting equipment and lifting accessories as per monthly activity planReview and ensure maintaining of lifting equipment registerMonitor adherence to schedule for inspection of lifting equipment and lifting accessoriesImplement colour coding system/Fitness sticker for lifting equipment and tools and tacklesPrepare training materials (Site based) if requiredImpart training for lifting team. i.e., slinger, signaler, lifting supervisor, crane operator)Impart class room & Practical training for lifting teamParticipate in High risk Focus meeting and raise high severity points related to Lifting and rigging which observed during the week.Provide inputs to management on strengthening the system to manage lifting and rigging activities.To prepare and submit weekly/Monthly MIS to Project Safety manager
