Job SummaryThe Contract Governance Specialist is responsible for managing the lifecycle of contractual documents, maintaining version control, and ensuring compliance with established governance processes. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to review and document provisions in Master Service Agreements, Statements of Work, and other contractual documents.The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of contract administration, document management, and bid governance. They should be proficient in Microsoft Word and Google Docs/GSuite, with experience in technical or legal writing, producing accurate and comprehensible contractual documentation.In addition to these skills, the successful candidate will possess excellent facilitation and stakeholder management experience in global, cross-functional environments. A basic understanding of project management practices and familiarity with customer experience, trust & safety, and/or digital business operations are also desirable.Key Responsibilities:Manage the entire lifecycle of contractual documents, including version control and formatting consistencyCollaborate with cross-functional subject matter experts to review and document provisions in Master Service Agreements, Statements of Work, and other contractual documentsFacilitate the documentation of commercial, legal, regulatory, and operational requirements in customer contracts, ensuring accuracy and complianceTrack and coordinate contributions from multiple stakeholders to meet client timelines, ensuring a seamless delivery processLead bid governance activities, capturing decisions, approvals, and outcomes according to established thresholdsRequirements:Minimum 3 years of experience in contract administration, document management, bid governance, or equivalentAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Google Docs/GSuite with strong document formatting and version control skillsProven experience in technical or legal writing, producing accurate and comprehensible contractual documentationStrong facilitation and stakeholder management experience in global, cross-functional environmentsBasic understanding of project management practicesExperience in supporting governance processes for bid and deal approvalsFamiliarity with customer experience, trust & safety, and/or digital business operations is preferredDegree in Communication, Business, or Legal disciplines is advantageousFluency in English is required; proficiency in German or Mandarin is an assetAvailability to work local night or overnight hours in the Philippines or India to align with U.S. working hours (8 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET; UTC -5:00 in autumn/winter, UTC -4:00 in spring/summer)About this roleThis role is integral to ensuring timely, compliant, and high-quality deliverables that support global business growth. The successful candidate will work closely with subject matter experts from Commercial teams, the Global Solutions Development team, Legal, Operations, Risk, Regulatory, and Tax to review and document TELUS Digital provisions within Master Service Agreements, Statements of Work, and other contractual documents.
