Energy Modeller PositionWe are seeking an Energy Modeller to support our development of energy simulations and building performance analysis for green building certifications (LEED, WELL, Estidama, DGBC, etc.) and other energy efficiency projects.The role involves assisting in creating accurate energy models, performing technical analyses, and supporting project teams in achieving compliance with sustainability and energy performance requirements.Key Responsibilities:Developing building energy simulation models using recognized software such as eQuest, Design Builder, IES VE, etcSupporting LEED, Estidama, DGBC and other green building certifications by preparing required documentation, calculations, and simulation reportsAssisting in reviewing architectural, mechanical, and electrical drawings to extract inputs for energy modelling and system analysisConducting baseline and proposed case simulations in accordance with ASHRAE 90.1 and relevant standardsAnalysing simulation results to identify energy conservation measures and optimisation opportunitiesSupporting the preparation of energy and water efficiency reports, feasibility studies, and carbon reduction analysesCollaborating with design teams to provide recommendations on passive design strategies, HVAC system optimisation, and renewable energy integrationStaying updated with local authority requirements and international standards related to energy performance and building simulationCoordinating internally with sustainability consultants and project engineers to ensure timely and accurate project deliveryRequirementsProficiency in recognised energy simulation softwareStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work accurately and efficiently under deadlinesBenefitsOpportunity to work on a wide range of energy efficiency projectsChance to develop skills and expertise in energy simulation and building performance analysisA collaborative and supportive work environment
