Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Software Project Manager. The Software Project Manager will be responsible for expediting projects and project management on Android Development
Responsibilities
1. User Research and Testing:
- Conduct user research, competitive analysis, and usability testing to ensure design solutions meet the needs of target users.
- Gather user feedback through surveys, interviews, and experiments to continuously improve product design.
2. User Persona Research and Trial Matching:
- Investigate and analyze product buyer personas (e.g., age, gender, location, usage habits).
- Apply insights to optimize trial user matching, improving trial effectiveness and user satisfaction.
3. Data Analysis:
- Utilize big data platforms to read, analyze, and interpret data.
- Provide insights that support decision-making, ensuring scientific and effective design decisions.
4. Cross-Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, designers, and other team members to implement product design solutions.
- Continuously optimize designs based on trial user feedback to enhance usability and satisfaction.
5. Project Management:
- Oversee the overall progress of trial projects, ensuring timely delivery.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (design, development, testing) to ensure project quality and progress.
6. International Collaboration:
- Work with international teams across different regions to promote the localization of global products.
- Efficiently manage and coordinate work progress and communication across time zones.
Qualifications
1. Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, User Experience Design, or a related field.
2. Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in User Experience or Project Management, preferably in the mobile, tablet, or computer industry.
- Proven ability to independently manage project planning, execution, and monitoring.
3. Skills:
- Strong foundation in User Experience Engineering, including user research and usability testing.
- Proficiency in data analysis using big data platforms and tools, with a consumer centric approach to creating user personas.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, particularly in a cross cultural, global environment.
- Proficiency in English (mandatory); Japanese language skills are a plus.
4. Technical Proficiency:
- Familiarity with prototype design, interaction design, and user research.
- Experience in user persona analysis and optimizing product trial matching strategies based on personas.
5. Programming and Tools:
- Proficient in Python or Matlab for experimental programming.
- Familiar with project management tools such as Jira.
- Strong data analysis skills.
