Strategic Business Unit: Global Power ToolsJob Title: Service Engineer, Cleco – India SouthLocation: BangaloreOverall Role :The main objective of role as Service Engineer is onsite service, installation & commissioning support to assigned customers / territory under the guidance of RSM – India South. Also responsible for attaining customer satisfactionJob Responsibilities:• Perform hands-on on-site troubleshooting, service and repairs• Handling customer complaints & explaining repairs to customers• Calibration of tools• Installation & Commissioning support for new projects• Provide on-site technical & operational training of tools to customers• Preventive Maintenance of tools to customers in region• Maintain history card of tools operational in region• Generate Service revenue from Calibration, Onsite Services, Annual Maintenance Contract, Retrofits.• Conduct demonstrations of existing & new products• Coordination with Service center & technical team to resolve specific customer issues• Support to regional sales in terms - understanding RFQ, participating in technical discussion• Application Study• Daily service report generation• Practice Ethical Business Code of Conduct & strict implementation of FCPA policy• Other duties as assigned time to timeKey Deliverables:• Turnaround time of service/repairs• Achieve service revenue target assigned• New AMC's signed• Time taken to attend service call• Upkeep of Demo tools in region and scheduled maintenance• Provide recommendation for spares parts to customers and get repair orders• Customer Satisfaction• Adherence to Business Code of PracticeCritical Skills & Qualifications:• Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering• Min 5+ years of working experience, preferably in tool maintenance, DC Torque tools, fault finding & trouble shooting• Programing (PLC, HMI, Torque Tools etc..)• Exposure on MES, Open Protocol, Fieldbus, Factory network software's• Repairing of DC & Pneumatic tools• Why-Why Analysis• Cross-functional team working• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.Behavioral Skills:• Proactive, dynamic & self-motivated• Ability to prioritize, manage time & work under pressure situations• Hands on approach• Able to manage critical situations through strong influencing and persuasive skills• Flexible and able to adapt to changing situations• Very hands-on – able to dive into and manage the details,• Strong sense of ethics and commitment to working in an honest and ethical way.• Comfortable in local & domestic travelsAt Apex Tool Group (www.apextoolgroup.com), we're passionate about innovation.
