Government Relations Specialist

Job OverviewWe are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Government Relations Specialist. In this position, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key government stakeholders, policymakers, and regulatory authorities.Key Responsibilities:Engage in regular interactions (meetings, roundtables, conferences) between members and key government officials.Identify and engage key decision makers for policy advocacy.Negotiate and influence skills to build consensus among stakeholders.Maintain updated database of key government contacts and policy developments.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Public Policy, Business Development or related field.15-20 years of experience in government relations, public relations or advocacy—preferably, in chambers, industry bodies, or consulting organisations.Proven track record of engaging with ministries, regulators, and government institutions.BenefitsA competitive salary and benefits package.The opportunity to work with a dynamic team and make a real impact on our organization's success.Ongoing training and development opportunities.
