The team consists of independent SMEs working with no Supervisor, reporting to Manager. We are seeking a candidate with project management skills and excellent communication skills. We offer flexible hours with overview and exposure to other departments' work.What are the ongoing responsibilities of a Specialist – Investment & Trade Client services?Ensuring successful set up and launch of Franklin's managed Funds and Accounts,Managing relationships and facilitating communication with custody banks and internal stakeholders to develop and maintain mutual understanding of requirementsLeading conversations with banks and internal teams to resolve issuesWorking with internal stakeholders of various levels and departments, e.g. Legal, Compliance, FTS, etc.Close tracking and reporting progress of key setups at banksBuilding and fostering relationships with key business partners, often at senior level, both internal (incl. NBS and BSPM) and external (mainly Banks representatives).Participating in various department-level projects, including innovations projects, identifying project objectives, resources and barriers, and ensuring successful and timely completion.Client On Boarding Calls and Projects:Very close partnership with New Business Services group with FTS to ensure successful launches of FT productsRepresent Portfolio Account Services as a custody onboarding subject matter expert in boarding meetingsReview and comment on the Investment Management Agreement to assess impacts on the derivatives agreement process and future negotiations.Work on projects to improve the custody onboarding process.What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful?Bachelor's degree or higher of equivalent work experienceFive to seven years' professional experience in financial servicesTwo to three years of derivative exposureUnderstanding of FT and FTS structures and custodian's rolePrevious investment industry experience preferredExperience in client service, marketing, project management or product developmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProofread documents to identify/remove riskAttention to detail and qualityInterpersonal skillsGood client service and customer focusStrong organization skillsDemonstrated ability to follow through on work assignmentsProven ability to take initiative and work under pressure in a dynamic environmentAbility to maintain confidentialityAbility to work independently, prioritize, and meet deadlinesGood facilitation, mediation, negotiation, and persuasion skillsStrong knowledge of Excel, Word and Power PointWork Shift Timings - 4:30 PM - 1:30 AM IST Experience our welcoming culture and reach your professional and personal potential Our culture is shaped by our diverse global workforce and strongly held core values.
