As a senior leader, you will oversee the underwriting team and ensure seamless production by collaborating with internal support teams. Your role involves providing recommendations for strategies and process improvements to add value to the team and clients.You will be responsible for supervising workflows, work queues, and maintaining daily, weekly, and monthly production reports. Additionally, you will coordinate activities with the manager, including workflow monitoring, process improvement, training, reporting, and special projects.Key responsibilities include coordinating with internal teams to resolve complex escalated queries and complaints from external and internal customers. You will also be responsible for leading and motivating associates to meet service level agreements related to mortgage underwriting functions.Required skills include knowledge of the US mortgage industry, strong customer service skills, negotiation skills, leadership skills, detail orientation, analytical skills, ability to analyze numbers, reconcile data, and experience with reporting and analysis.Responsibilities may also involve:Maintaining accurate records and reportsProviding regular updates to management on team performanceIdentifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changesWe offer a dynamic work environment that fosters growth and development.
