Purpose:The role of Oracle Data Integrator is responsible for turning the vision and roadmap of the team into reality. Including designing, developing and maintaining applications software aligned with business objectives. Additionally, the engineer act in a supporting capacity by providing fail and fix application support.Experience:8-10 years of Technology experience in the relevant domains.Experience with ETL tools, particularly Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).5+ years scripting experience, preferably PERL and python.8+ years of Oracle experience, SQL, Stored procedures.Strong experience on ETL Development and data AnalysisExperience working with Agile teams.Excellent problem analysis and investigation skills.Experience working with Control-M scheduling and job configuration changes.Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Database 19c, Sybase IQ, Control-M.JIRA/ RALLY, GitHub, ODI/ETL tools, platform mind-set.Advanced Linux/Unix skills, data tracing and analytical capabilitiesIndustry Background: Financial services sector knowledgeEssential capabilities:• Proven ability to use relevant data analytics approaches and tools to problem-solve and trouble-shoot.• Knowledge & experience with Build languages• Focus on quality and detail.• Excellent documentation and communication skills.• Strong commitment to quality and auditability• Ability to engage and influence stakeholders and understand their needs to ensure quality and governancestandards are met.• Enjoy working in a large, complex environment and can take challenges in your stride.• Experience in providing technology client service• Customer focused, move with speed and committed to delivering quality integration solutions.Key Accountabilities:• Participate in system design including production of system and program documentation as well as ongoing maintenance• Develop solutions and specifications so that agreed requirements can be converted into functional systems• Develop, program and code technology applications software solutions to meet agreed specifications. Improve, enhance and correct systems, as necessary.• Achieve key Systems Development Life Cycle stages in terms of quantity, timing and quality of all aspects of work allocated.• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with required standards, methods and procedures• Contribute to post implementation reviews to assess the effectiveness of the solution provided• Provide key support on fail and fix for assigned applications(s)• Develop, Execute & Support comprehensive reusable test scripts and scenarios based on testing plan in accordance with standard procedures and templates.• Complete initial diagnosis of problems, for a system or sub-system or apply known solutions, including documenting problems, progress checking, and escalation to ensure resolution• Comply with project plans, industry standards and regulatory requirementsQualification Requirements:• Tertiary qualification in technology related degree
